Funicular:

Found where there’s a steep hill or cliff to be negotiated. An ordinary tramway wouldn’t cut it, because the necessary adhesion wouldn’t be possible. So, the cars are hauled along the tracks by ropes or cables, driven by an external power source.

Fumarole:

In areas of high seismic activity, there are often places where cracks or fissures in the earth’s crust allow gases and superheated steam to escape. However, it’s not a sign that an eruption is imminent; indeed, in some parts of the world, they are harnessed to provide sustainable power.
