C for …

This week, our wander through the alphabet brings us to food; and here are a couple of my favourites:

Chocolate:

Good on its own, especially in winter. Even better if you partake of the Spanish breakfast of chocolate con churros.

Chili con Carne:

Let’s stay with Spanish … or, rather Mexican. When we eat out, people who know me sometimes take bets on whether I’ll order chili or steak and ale pie. This one is rather special. It’s my first ‘meal out’ after the first lockdown!

  1. I’m with you on the chocolate but draw the line at anything with chilli – my definite no-no. I’d substitute coffee for that as that is something I can’t live without. I don’t like tea either, so it’s coffee all the time. Good images, by the way.

    • You wouldn’t like the chili-flaoured chocolates I received a couple of Christmases ago, then. I wasn’t too keen on them myself!

      • Definitely not!
