Q for …

A little extra this week. I picked out two pictures for Queensland, because I thought it was the only Q I ever visited. Then, I remembered:

There actually two places of this name; North and South Queensferry, on opposite sides of the Firth of Forth. As the name suggests, they are the places where the Queen took the ferry to cross the Firth before they built the bridges. But, which Queen? Some people believe Queen Victoria, but there are some who claim the name long predates her, and it was more probably one of the Queens of Scotland.
