Sacred Valley

When we drove down into Peru’s Sacred Valley, we stopped for a while, so the guide could point out the Inca field systems on the hillside. We were entertained by a crowd of Peruvian kids in national costume, who posed for photographs, showed us their alpacas and sang for us.

And, I suspect, made more in largesse from us than their parents, manning the nearby craft stalls.
