Dürnstein & Melk: Video

Durnstein 4

River Danube: 30th March 2018

Sometime, in the early morning, we left Austria behind. If we didn’t know it already, this brief glimpse would have told us that Austria isn’t just about mountains and dirndls. It’s not only about Mozart and the Sound of Music, either. The opportunity of an optional trip to Salzburg was offered, but we didn’t take it.

As usual, I’ll round our visit off with a video. I thought the footage of Melk Abbey was a bit slight, so I combined it with some of the stuff I took in Dürnstein. Later on, I might add some bits from the Wachau Valley film I posted earlier; I thought, though, that this might result in a longer video than my visitors would be prepared to sit through.

But, if/when I do it, I’ll post a link, anyway.
