Leaf-peeping at Stirling

Stirling

Stirling: 3rd May 2012

On the way home, we stopped at Stirling. That’s yet another mountain town, which has been preserved the way it used to be … or, as some claim, the way they think it used to be!

There was no particular reason for our visit. We just sort of wandered around, and didn’t buy anything.

It’s still worth a call, though. It seems every other tree is a maple; at this time of the year, ablaze with colour.

That’s quite a bonus. If you visit from UK in the northern Spring/southern Autumn, you get in two lots of ‘leaf peeping’ in one year!
