Kakadu Video

Kakadu: 15th April 2012

We rounded off our all-too-short day at Kakadu with a visit to an Aboriginal Cultural Centre. In truth, it was a slight disappointment, for, although there were plenty of photographs, artefacts and ‘interpretative displays’ on show. I’d much rather someone talked to us, and gave demonstrations, like they did at Tjapukai, in Cairns or Pomberuk, in Murray Bridge.

But, it only detracted slightly from a great day. What’s that? Video? But, of course ….

  1. Love the rock paintings – so amazing they are still there after all these years. Loved to see the birds sitting in the trees. Was the one on the ground a brolga? Great music too!
