The Minstrels: Video

When I posted about the mediaeval re-enactment the other week, I said I couldn’t post my video of the minstrels, because I didn’t have their permission, without which it would be a breach of copyright and YouTube’s Terms of Service.

However, ‘Trouvère’ have now been kind enough to give that permission, so here it is. Enjoy!

And, if you want to find out more, visit them at www.medievalminstrels.com (NOTE: Use the alternative (American?) spelling of ‘Mediaeval!)

  1. I was glad to hear the pipes in there. Och aye. I was actually surprised by the number of instruments on offer. I was imagining a drum and a couple of lutes. Very, very nice music!

    • The bagpipes are a very ancient instrument; although most people think of them as Scottish, they’re found, by different names, all over the world. (I think I once heard that even the ancient Egyptians played them??)
