All good things ….

It’s all just about done now. The car has been returned, and we’ve done most of the packing … and we think it’s still within the weight limits. Tomorrow morning sees the start of a long, boring flight via Melbourne and Singapore … I hope they show TinTin, or The Iron Lady

See you about Friday, on the other side of the world!

  1. Happy travels. I’ve quickly reviewed your blog and it seems not only extensive but amazing. How long have you been traveling and how long do you travel for each time?

    • Well, define ‘travelling’ ! 😀 You see, you might travel to see Stonehenge, but for me, it’s just a bicycle ride down the road. Am I ‘travelling’ when I do a 400 mile road trip to see my family?

But, I’ll answer part of your question … I got my first passport in 1961; my job involved a lot of travelling. and I saw no reason to give it up when I retired.

  2. Hi Keith,
That’s a good job keeping within the weight limits. Yes it is a very long flight, I hope you are able to get the movies that you would like to watch.
Have a safe and I hope not too boring flight back, and I will see you back in the blogosphere. 😀

    • I’ve only ever come across one airline that absolutely insisted on the weight limits … most of them don’t mind a kilo or two over (especially if you can point out someone extremely overweight in the queue :D)

Yes, I saw both ‘TinTin’ and ‘The Iron Lady’ …. also ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’. And, I could have seen ‘War Horse’, but I have it on DVD, and haven’t got around to watching it yet.
