Yesterday evening, I went to an illustrated talk called ‘Wild Wiltshire’ given by my friend Sue Walker. Most of the pictures she showed were by her late husband, photographer Steve Day. I first met Sue and Steve about ten years ago, and liked them immediately … but, when I saw some of Steve’s awe-inspiring work, I nearly threw my camera into the nearest litter bin!

Sadly, Steve died in 2003, but left some super photos, both of the county I now call home, and much further afield. But, I’ll let Steve’s pictures do the talking; they can be seen at www.steveday.co.uk ; a great place to visit if you need some inspiration!

You can see an interview with Sue, and see some of the pictures she showed at http://www.vision-news.tv/page_single_v1.php?page_id=289&nwsid=751
