The Glass Shop

The Glass ShopThere There was an article in the latest ‘National Geographic Traveler’ telling how to tell fake Murano glass from the real thing. My take on it is … does it matter? If you like the piece, who cares whether it’s genuine Murano or not? If you do care, how better to ensure its provenance than by taking a trip to Murano, and buying from one of the many glass factories there? That’s where the trip diary is going to take us next. But, for a foretaste, I wanted to post this photo, to add a little colour to the site. And yes, this is all genuine Murano!
