The other day, Moira Martingale sent me the newsletter of the French House Party, about which I’ve been blogging for the last few weeks. There’s a link to my article at Global Foodie, (http://globalfoodie.com/2009/11/french-house-party ) , and also a link to an excellent article by journalist Carolyn O’Donnell, who was on the same programme, at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-1231211/French-House-Party-Languedoc-cooking-classes-flash-pan.html
Moira also told me the dates and prices for the 2010 courses:
‘We are now taking bookings for next year’s Gastro Academy courses, including the 3-day Cuisine in Brief (£495), the 6-day Gourmet Explorer (£1200) and the unique Cook au Vin, a 7-day course which includes 3 days of serious wine study, leading to an internationally-recognised qualification in wine knowledge. (£1400) The dates and details can be accessed at: frenchhouseparty.co.uk ‘

That arched window is stunning. I’m sure the course will fill up very quickly. Just the type of thing I would love to attend. Maybe in a couple of years…

Believe it or not, it was rather difficult to get that picture. I told Moira she polishes her floors too much; the flash kept reflecting off it till I got the angle just right.
