My new camcorder

I’m posting twice today, because the other day, I got to take some footage on my new camcorder. It’s a wondrous piece of kit; it’ll easily fit into a pocket, so I don’t look so much like a tourist (or Cecil B. DeMille) and will record on to an SD memory card.

Today, I got down to learning the software that went with it, and how to convert the footage to a format that Windows Movie Maker, my editor of choice, will recognise.

Here’s the result; I hope you like it.

  1. Your garden is lovely. Interesting local neighbourhood. I particularly like the sculptures. It was a really clear picture too. Great job!

  2. I’m really looking forward to getting ‘out and about’ with it. It’s so small, I’m much more likely to have it along with me.

I forgot to give it its full title … it’s the Panasonic SDR-S7 and costs about £200 here in UK.
